This Privacy Policy explains how MEL (Marketing Ecosystem Lounge), a brand of Sand & Pine Creative, LLC, founded by Amy Carlson ("MEL," "we," "us," or "our"), collects, uses, shares and protects your personal information when you visit melhq.co (the "Site"), book a call, or join or use the MEL membership and community (together, the "Services"). By using the Services, you agree to the practices described here.
1. Information we collect
Information you give us. When you book a call, join a membership, contact us or take part in the community, we may collect your name, email address, business name, billing details, profile information and anything you choose to share in messages, posts or forms.
Payment information. Membership payments are processed by our community platform, Circle, and its payment processors. We do not store full card numbers on our systems.
Information collected automatically. When you visit the Site, we and our service providers may collect your IP address, browser and device type, pages viewed, referring links and similar usage data through cookies, pixels and similar technologies, including Google Analytics and the Meta Pixel.
2. How we use your information

- To respond to questions and support requests
- To protect the Services, prevent fraud and comply with legal obligations
3. How we share your information
We do not sell or rent your personal information. We share it only as needed to run the Services, including with:
- Circle (community hosting, membership management and checkout) and its payment processors
- Google (calendar booking and scheduling)
- Webflow (website hosting)
- Flodesk (email marketing)
- Google Analytics (site analytics)
- Meta, through the Meta Pixel (ad measurement and advertising on Facebook and Instagram)
- Video and other service providers we use to deliver sessions and communications
- Professional advisors, or authorities when required by law or to protect our rights
These providers may only use your information to perform services for us and are expected to protect it.
4. Cookies
The Site uses cookies, pixels and similar technologies to make it work, remember preferences, understand how visitors use it and measure our advertising. These include Google Analytics, which helps us understand Site traffic, and the Meta Pixel, which helps us measure and show ads on Facebook and Instagram. Circle also uses cookies inside the community.
You can control or delete cookies in your browser settings, opt out of Google Analytics with the Google Analytics opt-out add-on, and manage how Meta uses your information for ads in your Meta ad preferences. Blocking some cookies may affect how the Site works.
5. Community content
Anything you post inside the MEL community, such as comments, questions and wins, can be seen by other members. Please do not share sensitive personal information in community spaces.
Workshop recordings. Workshops are recorded and shared with members as replays. Turning on your camera or microphone is always your choice. If you do, your image, voice and name may appear in the recording.
Testimonials and results. We may share member results, wins or comments in our marketing only in one of two ways: anonymously, with your name and identifying details removed, or with your written consent if you can be identified. You can withdraw your consent at any time by emailing us, and we will stop using it in new marketing.
6. How long we keep information
We keep personal information for as long as your membership is active and as long as needed afterward to provide replays you are entitled to, keep accurate business and tax records, resolve disputes and meet legal requirements.
7. How we protect information
We use reasonable administrative, technical and physical safeguards to protect personal information. No method of transmission or storage is completely secure, so we cannot guarantee absolute security.
8. Your choices and rights
Depending on where you live, you may have the right to access, correct, delete or receive a copy of your personal information, and to opt out of certain uses, including marketing. To make a request, email us at hello@melhq.co. We will respond within the time required by applicable law and may need to verify your identity first.
If you are a California resident, you have rights under the California Consumer Privacy Act, as amended. We do not sell personal information for money. Our use of the Meta Pixel to show ads to people who have visited the Site may be considered "sharing" for cross-context behavioral advertising under California law. You can opt out by emailing us with the subject line "Do Not Share," by adjusting your Meta ad preferences, or by blocking cookies in your browser. If you are in the European Economic Area or United Kingdom, we process your information to perform our contract with you, based on your consent, or for our legitimate business interests, and you may lodge a complaint with your local data protection authority.
9. Children's privacy
The Services are intended for adults 18 and older. We do not knowingly collect personal information from children under 13. If you believe a child has given us information, contact us and we will delete it.
10. Third-party links
The Site may link to websites and services we do not control. Their privacy practices are governed by their own policies.
11. Changes to this policy
We may update this Privacy Policy from time to time. When we do, we will update the date at the top of this page. Continued use of the Services after a change means you accept the updated policy.
